Caroline's 5th birthday
SECOND CHANCES
In 2004 Caroline and her family came to visit me. She was a beautiful 4-year-old child who needed a buddy.
Caroline and her family adopted Bear.
Then came Caroline’s 5th birthday.
Her Mom, Elaine, and Dad, Brian, planned a birthday party.
Caroline decided she had enough toys and wanted all her birthday presents to be doggie things so that she could give them to the rescues. I was invited to attend the party and the request was made to bring some dogs. The birthday party with 21 five year olds was held on May 13, 2004.
Caroline’s gifts included 2 very plush doggie beds, $25, 16 balls, 17 nylabones, 7 boxes of Milkbone doggie treats, 3 soft squeaky toys, 4 rope toys, 2 ring toys, 5 dumbbells, 6 rubber squeaky toys, 3 bags of treats, 1 collar, 1 lead, and 1 bag of rawhide treats. Caroline’s friends were very generous and Indiana Cocker Rescue wishes to thank the hearts of all 21 beautiful children. I told Caroline’s mother that was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for Rescue.
